I am an Associate Lecturer in Quantitative Methods in the Department of Political Science at University College London. Prior to joining UCL, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
I am also currently the recipient of a British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grant for a project examining how oversight shapes public servants’ behaviour, and whether political and family connections shape institutional effectiveness.
I hold a Master’s in Public Policy and a DPhil (PhD) in Political Science from the University of Oxford, as well as a Master’s in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.
My research focuses on governance, corruption, bureaucratic politics, and the political economy of foreign aid, with a regional interest in Latin America.
